Information we collect

We collect account details, optional student profile information, test attempts, progress, support messages and subscription status. We also record how the site is used — which pages are opened, which practice tests and storybooks are started, and whether an account or subscription was created.

How we use information

We use information to deliver practice tests, save progress, provide support, improve content and maintain the security of the service.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. It records pages viewed, actions such as starting a test or opening a storybook, the device and browser, an approximate location worked out from the IP address, and whether a visit ended in an account or a subscription. To do this it stores an identifier in your browser. Analytics records are kept for 14 months and are then deleted automatically.

We do not send names, email addresses or student profile details to Google. You can stop this collection by blocking cookies for this site in your browser, or by installing Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on. Blocking it does not affect anything on the site.

Payments

Subscriptions bought on this website are processed by Stripe. Purchases made inside our mobile apps are processed by Apple or Google. In both cases the payment provider handles your card details directly — we never receive or store your full card number. We are told only that a payment succeeded, which plan it was for, and when the subscription runs to.

Children

Accounts are created and managed by a parent, carer or teacher. We do not ask children for personal information: reading and practice activity is recorded against the account that was set up for them. The adult who holds the account can ask us to delete it at any time.

Storage and disclosure

We use service providers required to operate the platform — hosting, payment processing and analytics — and do not sell personal information. Some of these providers store data outside Australia. Information may be disclosed when required by law.

Your choices

Optional profile fields can be left blank. You may contact us to request access, correction or deletion of personal information, subject to legal obligations.
